“It was probably the most valuable experience of my youth.”
Alison Filippini, GSA Drama Student, 1990

INDIVIDUAL GIVING
Students impacted by GSA keep that creative experience with them as they become adults.  The quote above is a perfect example:  Alison was a GSA Drama student about 20 years ago! But it’s even more important than an arts experience.  Through the program, students experience living as a community for the first time, how to give back, and how to make an experience that was influential to them available to others.  According to Americans for the Arts, students who are involved with the arts are:

  • 4 times more likely to be recognized for academic acheivement.
  • 3 times more likely to be elected to class office within their schools.
  • 4 times more likely to participate in a math and science fair.
  • 3 times more likely to win an award for school attendance.

This makes for better community leaders, stronger careers in the workforce, and more concious-minded citizens.  Be an individual who creates opportunities for our future generations - click here to donate through The Kentucky Center’s website, or click here for creative ideas to support GSA.

CORPORATE GIVING
Support from the corporate community allows GSA to pursue its mission and tradition of excellence in our community.  GSA relies on corporate support in order to continue providing free, high-quality arts education opportunities to Kentucky’s talented artists.  Click here for more.

FOUNDATION GIVING
Foundations are key partners in carrying out the mission of GSA.  The Kentucky Center works closely with foundations to identify the opportunities and programs that will best meet their mission and objectives of both the foundations and GSA.  The Kentucky Center recognizes foundation and government support in its publications and other forums, as appropriate.  Click here for more.

PLANNED GIVING
One of the most popular ways to support GSA is a bequest in your will.  A bequest will have a lasting impact on the future of GSA and is a quick, easy and flexible method of making a gift.  Click here to learn more on The Kentucky Center’s website about how you can make a lasting impact and leave your legacy!
